PUBLICATION FILE // DISCLOSURE

Disclosure

Readers should be able to tell what stands behind a verdict and what supports the site. This page separates ordinary display advertising from sponsored editorial content and explains the relationships that could matter to a review.

EFFECTIVE / LAST UPDATED:

Current review policy

RQR currently reviews publicly available consumer releases acquired by its reviewers without publisher- or developer-provided review copies, free review keys, special review builds, or sponsored access. If that practice changes for a particular review, the relevant access or material benefit should be disclosed with that content.

Display advertising

RQR uses or may use Google AdSense to display third-party ads on public content pages at any time. Ads may be active, paused, unavailable, or shown only on certain pages or to certain visitors. The publisher-account meta tag and ads.txt seller record used for ownership verification do not make a review sponsored and do not give Google or an advertiser editorial control.

RQR may earn revenue from eligible ad impressions, clicks, or other advertising activity. That revenue helps pay for hosting, operations, and the continued production of independent Rage Quit Reviews content. Ads are separate from editorial reviews. The appearance of an ad is not an RQR endorsement of the advertiser, product, service, or claim, and advertisers and ad platforms do not control coverage, scores, conclusions, or publication decisions.

Readers should interact with an ad only when it genuinely interests them. RQR does not ask readers to click ads merely to support the site.

Affiliate links

RQR does not currently use affiliate links on this site.

If affiliate links are introduced in the future, RQR may receive a commission from qualifying purchases. The relationship should be disclosed clearly near the relevant link or content, and affiliate compensation must not determine a review score or conclusion.

Sponsored editorial content

RQR does not currently publish advertiser-paid or sponsored articles, reviews, or other editorial material.

If RQR ever publishes paid or sponsored editorial material, it should be labeled clearly and kept distinct from independent reviews. Payment would not turn advertising or sponsored material into an independent review.

Future material benefits

Publisher- or developer-provided complimentary access is not part of RQR's current review process. If RQR ever receives a game, product, event access, travel, or another material benefit from an interested party at no cost, that relationship should be disclosed clearly on the relevant content so readers can interpret it for themselves.

Editorial independence

Display advertising, an affiliate relationship, sponsorship, free access, or another financial or material relationship cannot purchase positive coverage, a particular score, or editorial approval. RQR retains control of what it covers, what it concludes, and whether material is published.
