Harbor Knife Tactics does not waste much time. Maps are small, enemies hit hard, and bad positioning gets punished quickly.
The class system is simple but flexible. You are usually choosing between two bad options, which is where tactics games should live. The UI is not always helpful, especially when terrain effects stack.
The story is barely there, but the missions are sharp. For a small tactics game, that is the better trade.

Tactics players who prefer tight maps, quick turns, and decisions that hurt.

You want a big narrative campaign or forgiving difficulty ramps.
