Crater Choir keeps the focus where it belongs: maps, movement, and bad options. Units are simple on paper, but terrain and enemy pressure make their jobs collide in interesting ways.
The campaign wrapper is plain, and the story mostly exists to move you from fight to fight. That would hurt more if the fights were weaker. They are not. Most maps find a clean tactical question and get out before repeating it too much.
It is lean, readable, and hard to put down.

Tactics fans who want lean missions and meaningful positioning without a huge campaign.
SKIP IT IF
You need deep story scenes or a sprawling strategy layer between battles.
